God’s Country is a weekly podcast hosted by Nashville songwriters and brothers Dan and Reid Isbell, built around the intersection of country music and the outdoors and launched through MeatEater and iHeartPodcasts. The show has featured conversations with major artists and songwriters across the country music industry.
Since joining the production, responsibility has extended across the entire visual and post-production pipeline, including multi-camera production, camera direction, full episode video editing, audio editing and finishing, episode packaging, thumbnails, social content, and final delivery. The recurring workflow was designed to turn long-form conversations into a polished, consistent show while also identifying moments capable of extending each episode’s reach across social platforms, with multiple pieces of content going viral.
As the show has grown, the production workflow has scaled alongside it. What originated as a three-camera production has expanded to five camera angles, multiple versions of each episode, additional deliverables, and a significantly accelerated turnaround schedule. Managing that growth has required restructuring the post-production workflow while maintaining consistent visual quality, audio continuity, editorial pacing, and reliable weekly delivery.
The production has included episodes with artists such as HARDY, ERNEST, Jon Pardi, Zach Top, Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley, Riley Green, Lee Brice, Tanya Tucker, Craig Morgan, Chase Rice, Tracy Lawrence, Lukas Nelson, Mitchell Tenpenny, and others, requiring a repeatable production system capable of supporting both high-profile guests and the demands of an ongoing weekly series.
